A Play On Playsuits.
Happy Wednesday lovelies !
You guys voted through a poll on my Instagram story for my next blog to be on fashion 🙂 So I decided to show you one of my all time favourite outfits from Kookai. If you know me, or have been following me on Insta, then you know I can’t resist a good playsuit for casual or formal wear. There is just something so satisfying about wearing them.. it’s like wearing a really nice dress but with comfort of knowing you’re safe in shorts. All of these photo’s are with the same background to really showcase the outfits.
I first found this Kookai playsuit two years ago now, and fell in love !!
The electric blue colour gives it an extra pop, and the cut of the playsuit really compliments my body by giving me boobs when I have none hahaha! This particular look is accompanied by Windsor Smith shoes and Oroton bag.
Black on black on black ! I found this beauty about a year after the blue one was released. Exactly the same playsuit ! It’s like the Kookai playsuit God’s were looking out for me and knew I needed a simple black edition. Personally I believe the all black is a lot more formal. I also wore my hair up so the black of the playsuit didn’t clash too much with the black of my hair. This look is accompanied by Nine West black and baby pink points, and Oroton bag.
Now if life couldn’t get any better… A THIRD ONE WAS RELEASED ! At first I didn’t like the print and only bought the playsuit because the shape really did suit me, but now I’m in love with the floral pattern and it’s one of my faves. This one, like the blue one, is great for day wear into night wear. I’m wearing old Windsor Smith platforms and would wear any colour clutch with this. Perfect for Sunday lunch to a Sunday sesh 😉
And lastly, Kookai released the white edition. How could I possibly say no! By this stage, any colour in this playsuit was going to have a home in my wardrobe haha. Black and white have been my ‘go-to’ shades for years now, ever since I dyed my hair black actually, so it would have been a crime to keep this baby in store. For the sake of not always wearing heels, I have made the look a bit more dressy casual with some tan Tony Bianco sandals, and Michael Kors bag.
Okay so now that I’ve showed you a sneak peek into my obsessions with playsuits, I also have some other news! I have been wanting to vlog for months now, and decided 2018 was the year I should start. I’m not making any promises that they will be good, because I’m a dork when I talk into the camera, but I’m trying.
I shot a ‘behind the scenes’ of this photo shoot with the playsuits. Starting from doing my make up, to putting the outfits together, and even explaining them a little 🙂 Like I said it’s not gonna be great however I’m excited for you all to see. Keep posted with my Instagram and YouTube for the video… uploading by the end of this week !
Until next time!
